It's been a while since I wrote anything and a lot has changed in both the Drupal landscape and with my CF. This blog article is a brief update on all of these.
OK so with all the best intentions comes the habits of mortal man. I failed miserably in publishing this article on Wednesday as I had suggested I'd do. However it is here now, and better than it would have been if I had rushed to meet a Wednesday "publishing deadline". I am however sticking to my target of an average of 1 blog entry per week for a year(6th week in a row people - this definitely is some kind of record for me) Here we go theming with Omega. This is the first actual theme review of my blogging series on theming. For the earlier parts see below:
My "review" process for the theming mini-series
Scope creep has happened! I have not got my Omega review to a publishable (Or even vaguely written!) point. Below is a revised project outline (With more - useful - stuff!) but with an additional target of linking my mini series to the DrupalCamp London talk I submitted.
This is an introduction to a mini-series of blogs based off a talk I did back in November 2012 on some of the common base themes used by Drupal. They are going to cover February and maybe early March's blog entries on davidthorne.net. Each Blog entry will contain links to parts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. This is part 1 of 5.
A guide to contributing to Drupal, taken in part from Drupal Ladder sessions run at the London Drupal Code Sprint.
I recently purchased a Nexus 10 to replace my now ageing iPad 1. Below are my views on the device having used it for a week, comparing and contrasting with the iPad 1. This is not a "Google is better than Apple" post, this is not an "Android is better than iOS" post or vice versa. These are my views as a user of both systems.
It's 2013! Obligatory blog entry about the New Years Resolutions I have no intention of keeping
I have finally relaunched my website - albeit with a default bartik theme whilst I finish building my Omega based one.
